The St. Patrick School Lunch Program is committed to providing wholesome, nutritionally balanced meals in a safe, welcoming environment. Our cafeteria team serves students with care, consistency, and attention to health standards — supporting each child’s ability to learn, grow, and thrive.

Our lunch program operates under the direction of a certified Food Service Manager and is inspected twice yearly by the St. Charles County Health Department. Staff complete ongoing training related to food safety and nutrition.
A la carte items are $1.00 each and include:
Smart Snack–compliant snacks (fruit, crackers, pretzels, cereal bars, cookies, etc.)
Milk or juice
Ice cream (produced in-house or pre-made, flavors vary)
Allergy note: Some items may contain or be processed with peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, soy, or wheat.
Students may pay with:
Cash, or
Punch Cards ($10 for 10 items)
Three punch card options:
Snack only
Ice cream only
Snack + ice cream combo
Important notes:
Punch cards are non-refundable and cannot be replaced if lost
Each sibling must have their own card
Cards should remain in the student’s lunchbox
Monday–Friday: Grades 4–8
Tuesday: Kindergarten & Grade 1
Wednesday: Grades 2–3
Families may:
Send cash or check to school (checks payable to St. Patrick School)
Drop payment at the school office
Pay online through FACTS Family Portal
Each family must maintain a minimum $10 balance to ensure students can receive lunch if one is forgotten.
Lunch balances are tracked by family, not individual students.
If an account is negative for two consecutive lunch days and attempts have been made to notify parents, an alternate lunch may be served until the balance is updated.
Report cards may be held at year-end if balances remain unpaid.
Unused funds roll over to the next school year. For graduating families, balances over $5.00 will be refunded if no outstanding fees exist.
ALL STUDENTS WITH FOOD ALLERGIES MUST HAVE AN UP-TO-DATE DOCTOR-COMPLETED ALLERGY FORM ON FILE BY THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.
Procedures include:
Parent notification to the school office
Emergency Action Plan from a physician
Assigned seating at an Allergy-Free table
(Exceptions require a doctor’s note)
Allergy-Free tables are sanitized after each lunch period

To ensure a safe and respectful environment:
Table manners and inside voices are expected
No food sharing
Food may not leave the cafeteria
Students clean their area before dismissal
Soda is not permitted
Students remain seated until dismissed
