The NWEA Assessment is administered three times a year to students in kindergarten through grade 8 to measure academic progress (MAP). NWEA stands for Northwest Evaluation Association. These tests are administered to help the faculty determine students’ strengths and weaknesses, monitor student progress year-to-year, and drive changes in the curriculum and teaching methods. The results of these tests are shared with parents with a reminder that the results are merely guides, and care must be taken not to misinterpret the data. Test results will be available at Parent Conferences.
